St. Olympia Orthodox Church

Dear Faithful, Glory to Jesus Christ! Inside, you can read about the incredible history of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God (June 26) which made its way to the United States after WWII. We are blessed with a hand-written copy of this icon at the Hermitage. Attached is the calendar for July. Please note that Wednesday Hermitage Vespers will be at 6pm instead of 5pm for the summer months of July and August. We will not be offering Liturgy at St. Olympia's for the Feast of the Holy Apostles on June 30; however, people are invited to make the pilgrimage to Holy Apostles in Lansing, NY for their Altar Feast. We will have Liturgy for Ss. Peter and Paul on Monday, June 29 (8am). Have a blessed Feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist tomorrow (Wednesday) and enjoy these long, bright days of summer. Your servant in Christ, Fr Gregory "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory." - Isaiah 6:3
