St. Alexis of Wilkes-Barre

Our patron, righteous father Alexis of Wilkes-Barre, was a missionary priest, sent from his homeland in Slovakia as a Uniate, who, in order to serve and protect his flock in the United States, recognized the need to lead them in a return to their Orthodox Christian heritage. We are a multi-ethnic community, welcoming Orthodox Christians from all backgrounds as well as those who want to learn and experience the Christian faith. Everyone is welcome to visit our Church. We are a Church of the Orthodox Church in America, the Diocese of the South.
