St John the Theologian Orthodox Mission

Welcome! All services are held at St. Paul’s “The Pines” Lutheran Church social hall (1535 Hunterstown Hampton Road, New Oxford, PA 17350) unless otherwise noted. Look for our placard to find us! St. John the Theologian Orthodox Mission in Gettysburg is a ministry of the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania of the Orthodox Church in America. We are a growing community of Orthodox Christians seeking to live out the ancient faith passed down from the Apostles. Whether you are Orthodox, exploring Christianity, or simply curious about our tradition, we invite you to join us as we worship God, grow together in faith, and serve our neighbors in love. As a mission parish, we are building something new while preserving the timeless worship and teaching that has sustained believers for two thousand years. We gather regularly for Divine Liturgy, prayer, and fellowship, and we welcome all who wish to encounter the living God in his Church. Come and see what God is doing in our community!
